Bedroom: Before and After

I was looking through some old photos recently and came across this photo of our bedroom from when our house was for sale. I can't believe how far it's come! We added the wallpaper behind our bed and gave the walls a fresh coat of paint (Benjamin Moore - Decorators White). We also painted the bed (that we bought with the house). What a huge difference that made! Our sconces, the Wallace Lamp, are from one forty three and we have been so pleased with them! I just recently changed the bedding (it was darker before). I wanted to give the bed a cleaner look so I ended up going with the Soft-Washed Linen Duvet and Euro Shams from Anthropologie and it's been super soft and awesome.

The biggest thing I have learned with decorating is that it takes time. Be patient with yourself through the process - for me things are always a work in progress!

  1. Your bedroom is just lovely! I've been secretly hoping you'd post sources since seeing a photo or two of the space on your Instagram feed a few months ago. I've been in love with the Wythe Hotel wallpaper for awhile now and just might have to order a sample to see if it'd be a good option for our dining room.

    Thanks for sharing, Caroline!

  5. What theme is your bedroom to be? For a child it might be a Winnie the Pooh theme for example, for an adult it might be a color or a period. Or perhaps a certain style of furnishing.
